- The WhiteCMS is a hosted Content Management System designed for resellers who build websites for a living.

Pricing
- How much does the WhiteCMS cost?
- The WhiteCMS is offered on a pay-as-you-go basis. You only pay for the sites you have installed on a per site per month basis.
- Are there any set-up or cancellation fees?
- No, there is no charge for setting up or cancelling an account.
- How do I pay for the service?
- Payment is collected by Credit or Debit Card per site (plus any modules) per month in advance.
- Can I upgrade/downgrade one of my website plans?
- Yes, you can do this from your control panel at any time. Upgrades will take effect immediately - the difference between your current plan and the upgrade plan will be charged to your card. Downgrades will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
Modules
- What is a module?
- A module extends the CMS in some way. For example the news module allows your clients to easily publish news articles on their website.
- Which modules are available?

- How do I install/uninstall a module?
- Log in to your control panel and navigate to the clients site you wish to install the module. Select 'Modules' to be shown a list of modules. Click 'Install' next to the desired module and once you have agreed to the terms and conditions the module has been installed. Uninstalling is exactly the same, except click 'Uninstall'.
- How much does a module cost?
- Modules are charged on a per month per site basis. Each module has a different price depending on the complexity/resources of the module. A full list of module prices can be viewed here.
- How do I use a module once I've installed it?

- I've found a module I would like to use but it doesn't have some fields I need - can I add them?
- Soon - in a forthcoming release you will be able to add custom fields to all modules.
- Can I write my own modules?
- This isn't currently possible, but may be in the future.
- I can't see XYZ module listed. Will you build a new module for me?
- Usually there will be a module to meet your requirements, but on the rare occasions that you need something different you can always send us a suggestion for a future module.
Technical
- Where is the CMS hosted?
- The CMS is hosted in the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud or EC2 for short.
- What is the specification of the hosting environment?
- As the CMS is hosted within the cloud the specification of the environment changes with demand. This means as the CMS receive more demand, additional computing power is automatically brought online.
- Where is my data stored?
- All websites and website data is stored using the Amazon Simple Storage Service or S3 for short. The actual physical location is dependant upon your location. For example UK customer data in stored with Europe, whilst US customer data is stored in the US.
- Are there any web services or a developers API I can develop against?
- Coming soon - you will be able to write your own applications to retrieve/store or search CMS assets.
- How can I integrate with application XYZ?
- Coming soon - using our published API
- Does the CMS support SSL certificates?
- Coming soon - it will do very shortly. Check out our page about SSL based sites.
- What about my e-mail - can you host my email?
- I'm afraid not but we have a number of partners who would be glad to help.
